Presentation

In my presentation I am going to talk about one of the most famous place for the Archaeology. I am going to refer to Pompeya.
I will divide my presentation in three parts. First I am going to talk about the location. Secondly the history or What happened?,  And Thirdly Why is this place so important for the Archaeology?.
Pompeya is located in Italy, It´s near to Nápole. It´s in southwest of Italy. It´s is downhill from the  Vesubio volcano.

                                                                                 



Pompeya was a important city in Roman empire. It was a very good economy for the proximity with the sea and fertile land. One of the most remarkable is the road network that they had. In the city lived more than twenty five thousand people.
In the seventy two years the Vesubio volcano erupted. In the catastrophe died more that two thousand people. The people who died was skeptics, slaves or people who can´t be evacuated.
The important of this place is the perfect maintenance for the volcanic ash. You can found body, building, art and object intact. It´s like the time don´t pass in this place.

 



For the perfect maintenance we can know who they lived, ate and organized. In the present they continue to discover more information and items. Today the found a skeleton in this place.

Holiday to remember

The last year I went to La Serena (north of Chile) with my favorite cousin Francisca that is a year younger than me. We stayed for two weeks in the house of my uncle. We played just dance 4 for three day without live the house. We walked for all the city while We was dranking a juice. 

We ate a lot delicious food. We went a italian restorant, chinese restorant and japanese restorant. I  put on like three kilogram.

I know that It does not sound like amazing travel. But that was the fisrt time that I feel free, without parents, scheduling or problems. Only my cousin and me against the world. We had to administer the money and the time. And we could ¡¡¡¡¡. 

That travel gave me the cofident that I need for the next stage in my life. And finish a very painful stage. And it gave me the strenght to make my aim reality. 

 

 

Natonal Holiday

I said in the last post that i hate the parties and this is not the exception. This party is about to celebrate our stranger and dysfunctional country (Chile). The days of celebration on eighteen and nineteen of September. However this year we had more days, that we had seven days of celebration. 

What i did?

I went to Los Andes with three friends. We stayed there the first three day. We went to the museum, We ate ice cream, we cooked meat and we saw a lot of movies. I had a great time with their. And the rest of the days i stayed with my family, we cooked empanada not traditional with spinach and turkey. 

For me these days aren´t to celebrate, just are bank holidays. This is just an excuse to drink alcohol, don´t work and eat a lot of food. For me this national holiday don´t have meaning. It is like we remember to be Chilean only these days, but the rest of the year we forget the traditional dance, music, and our history. Our independence was on twelve of February of 1818.

My name is Natalia but I prefer people to call me Lia. I am studying Antropology and this is my first year. I am eighteen years old and I live in Chile. My hobbies are the cooking especially the italian food and listing to music but I hate with all my soul reggaeton, candies and the parties. I always think that I was born in a wrong time but I don´t know in which time I would like to have been born.
My biggest dream is when I finish my career I could have the possibility to work in Pompeya and move to Italy. I never feel like I belong to Chile. I don´t identify with their tradition, festivities and customs.
